Stargazer Nursery

CULTIVATING 30+ AGAVE VARIETIES FOR SPIRITS PRODUCTION, FARMS, AND HOME GARDENS.

Stargazer in the News

Based in the heart of Sonoma County, we are breeding and growing over 30 varieties of agave with a goal of identifying extraordinary agaves for spirit production and ornamental use. Our agaves include common spirit varietals, uncommon ornamentals, and U.S. natives and domesticates. Our particular focus is breeding and cultivating plants that will thrive in Northern California's dry, hot summers and cool, wet winters. We are expanding our planted acreage slowly each year, as we experiment with native ground cover, cover crops, interplanting, and various organic and regenerative soil management practices. We use no pesticides or herbicides, and we clear all weeds by hand.
